Thnro is ft Rood demand for Southern euro, and good business can be roportnd. Errs were in better supply for auction, and realised good prices. Cheese also to hand in increased quantities, and with good demand. In fruit, the supply of gooseberries was larce, and we think, from all reports, crops arc so good that prices will mlo low; lemons aro in very strong demand, ami all first-class sold at Is 5d to Is 8d on arrival ; loquats wero lower than last week, and cherries about the same. J'oultry: Wo had im iinpiovod supply for auction, nnd several crates arrived late ; pricus coiilitiua satisfactory, with good demand.
