LARNEY'S ANTHELMINTIC.

Tokomarn, Gisborne, 30th September, ISO 1. To the Manager Loan and Mercantile Company, (iisboi ne. Dkak Sih,—l promised to let you know tlio result of dosing the hoggets with Limey's Anthelmintic. I was unable to give a fair trial, not having the convenience, to change the hoggets into fresh pasture after drenching. I took 21100 of Iho worst of the hoggets off the country thuy were running on most of the winter and kept them in a smaller paddock for about ten days before drenching. After drenching I marked them and turned them back with the remainder of the hoggets where they had been running most of the winter. I kept back 300 of the very worst of them and drenched them three timed at intervals of nine days. The 2300 wo turnod out with the main lot have improved wonderfully, and very few of them have died since drenching. The 300 that wo dosed throe times were as bad as it was possible for Rheep to be, and wo expected very few of them to recover ; only ten have died since we first drenched them. We have now turned them out with the main mob, considering them quite recovered. I have no doubt that had we not drenched them with the Anthelmintic we should have lost nearly the whole of the 300 lot. 1 intend drenching our weanors with it again next year, and I fee! sure if the drenching is done in time it will prevent a great deal of the mortality in young sheep. I would strongly advise anybody whose young sheep are troubled with lungwnrm and intestine work to give the Anthelmintic a trial, and I feel sure they will be satisfied with the results if they drench according to directions in the pamphlet.—Yours faithfully, (Sgd) W. D. S. McDonald.
