SCULLING MATCH.
(by electric telegraph.—copyinght.) Melbourne, November 10. Thb race for the amateur sculling championship of Victoria took place on the Lower Yarra yesterday, and was won by Mr W. Bridson (of the Wellington Rowing Club), the representative of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association. The other competitors were : Mcßae, of Sydney ; Ritchie and Gow, of Tasmania ; luley, Scheider and J. Walters, of Victoria. A good statt wa3 effected, and the New Zealauder at once dashed olf with the load, which he steadily increased to the finish, winning by three lengths. Time, 20min. 50-ecs.
