WAITOA ROAD BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the Waitoa Road Board took place in the Nottingham Castle Hotel, Morrinsville. Present: Messrs \V. 1\ Ohepmoll (iu the chair), I',. W. Hannier, J, Horrell, K. Purr, and J. Turnbull. A letter was received from Mr Win. Holtby, reporting that repairs ure required on the road between the Waitoa railway station and Kahia.—lt was decided to got the necessary repairs done on the said road and on the road between the main road near the Waihou township and Chudleigh's gate.—The tender of Owen McCabo (tho only one received) was accepted for cloaring and forming KjSi chains on tho Mangakawa Road at £07 4s tid and for the work on the Manngatapn Road at £2">.—Mr Hanmer tendered his resignation as a member of the Board and it was accepted with regret.—The following accounts were passed for payment:—A. Bremner, £13 17s ;G. Ahier, El 7s ;V. Pavitt, £315s ; .T. Collins, £2 2s; O. MeCabe, £11 ss; Win. McClear, 12s : Jas. Turnbull, £10.
