HINTS FOR THE SHEARING SHED.
Avoid double onts in shearing, Remove all locks, bellies, nnd pieces from the floece.
Roll the fleeces outside inwards, etc.; do not tie them with string or flax.
Longwools, halfbreds, crossbredn, and Muck wool should be classed separately. D~> not mulct! too many sorts, especially f thj clip in u'amall one, Mark both ends of your bales clearly with your sheep brand or the nemo of your farm or run. See that tho shed is properly cleaned, as etraw or chaff gutting iuto tho fluoco lesseus tho valoo of the wool.
Buy a proper stencil brand, if necessary, and do not write the name on the bales with a piece of wood or an old briish.
