Mi' CiiAPji.vx, of the firm of Orlean Bros, and Jiigg, the well-known ironmongery firm in New South Wales, in a letter to tbo Press suggests that Great Britain should give a substantial bonus to the Stat;: industries of the colonies if the colonies reduce the duties on British goods 50 per ecnt. in advance of the amounts proposed by the Commercial Union.
