A Kugby football team are we, We glory in the fact, For who can say that ever we Were guilty of an act Of meanness or dishonesty, Unmanliness or crime ; Or that we do not play our part From start till call of "Time !" Chorus—We play the Ramp, ha !ha ! Strong in tho scrum ws are, We've won the match, hurrah ! We play all dancer scorniug. (To be repented.) Bold sportsmen love the hunting field And rave about the chase, With dog and gun somo seek for fun, Or rovel in tho nee ; But give to in the football field, All other sports scorn tame To anyono who's ever played The grand old Rngbv game. Chorus—We play, etc. Our places on the ground we take, And when the whistle sounds The ball's sent (lying through the air And soon foes out of hounds. Then from tho line out we rush through And straight across the line, In dribble, rush, or scrum, my boys, Our forces we combine. Chorus—Wo play, etc. Three choors our bold opponents givo When we have won the umiiig ; And when they win straight from the heart, Wo cheer them just the same. True manly hearts no milice bear. Nor to base envy yield, A friendly hand grasp settles all Tho quarrels of the held. Chorus —We plav, etc.
