The Board of Education's executive committee submitted a scale for their arrangement of the teaching staff the result of the conference with the Board's Inspectors. It was stated during tho discussion that the scale involved an increase of forty teachers aDd £1200 extra cost. Tho scheme was adapted after considerable amendment. The Salvation Army in Auckland are making every preparation for tho reception of "General" Booth who arrives from Sydnev on Tuesday noxt in the S.S. Pakaki.
