REPORTED REVOLT CONTRADICTED. (BY ELECTRIC TKLKfiRAPn—COPYRIGHT). Nkw York, October 4. The New York "World states that President Barillas fought the insurgents on Wednesday last !0 miles from the city, and that it is reported the President is journeying towards the coast in order to catch a steamer. On the other hand, the correspondents of the New York Herald declares that the rumours of the continuation of the revolt are groundless. Later. President Barillas declares there has been no rising in Guatemala and that pease prevails.
