The Irish Couventioti at Chicago is uninflucntiiil, and is controlled by the Olan-na-gael, under the leadership of Tynan and Byrne. The Convention refused to interfere in the Irish quarrel, and declines to make further contributions until the funds in the hands of the Paris bankers are released. The genera] tone of flic Convention is hostile to Mr Parnell.
