WAIKATO ROAD BOAD.

Tim ordinary monthly meeting of the above-named board took place in tho hoard s office last. Saturday. Present. : Messrs W. P. CV.piuoll (in tin l chair) J. llorruli, R. Parr, and J, Turnhuil. As no o'.jeci'.ns were received to in iking the alterati ais in Valuation roll referred to at last meeting, it was decided to make said alterations. A circular was received from tho Commissioner of Taxes wishing that facilities may be", alforded to v doers for inspecting the rclls now in force, and examining maps, in order to assist them in forming an estimate of the work involved in making an assessment. Mr N. I Hunt, interviewed the Board with referetic" to getting improve ments done on the Piako road north ot Te Miuii. The Board decidod to get the iin - provuinents done, and to get the Te Miuii bridge cutting inproved. Thn H.igineer reported that he inspected the Maungatapu road, atid was of opinion that of the cuttings are very much in want of improving, aud some of tho other par's of tie 1 road might be improved a ht.t.le. The lizard decided to get the work done, and to get a pint of the road formed lending to Maungakawa from the railway crossing at Turnbull's boundary, and to get repairs done, oil the read leading to the Auckland Agricultural Company's property from Waihou. Tho Engineer reported that the repairs on the i'iakoiti road have been completed and also leading to the property of Mrli. Stark. A letter was received from Mr Stark insisting upon getting that cutting seen to. Tho Clerk was instructed to acknowledge receipt nf Mr Stark's letter and inform him that the cutting has been repaired.
