A movement is on foot to inaugurate a Niirllii'rn Railway League, in order tu see that fuller justice is dona tu this ond of the colony in matters cuiintuled with thu railways. The idea of tho League is to interview meinherx, and to kr>ep the quustion of the railway extension in tho north constantly to the front. Already tho names of forty leading citizens have lieen sent in as members of the Railway League, and a general secretary is to ba appointed.
