Mk Vausb favoured ufs with one of Ins magic lantern entertainments at the school on Friday evening last, when, notwithstanding tlie many counter attractions on the samo evening, there was a good attendance, 'tnd the eutcrtainineut provided wa.> highly appreciated. Tho pictures shown comprised a. beautiful set of photographic views in and around London, aud were :l 11 rema-kably clear, carrying some of the audience back to scenes and places well kuowu to them in the Old Country, while the younger folks w?ro highly delighted with tho large number of comic and other slidos shown for their special amusement, as well as with the view of their school and themselves, which had only heen photographed by Mr W. Stevenson tho same morning.—The entertainment is to be repeated, with some additional views, by Mr Vatiso at Che Public Hall, To Awamiitu, on Friday overling, instant, when there is sum no be a large gathering.—A correspondent.
