In .-■■renls prices remain about the same, particularly for seed purposes. Dairy produce: Prime fresh butler is coining forward in s'ich increasing quantities that values have receded somewhat, and wo think rates will bo still lower next week. Eggs are very plentiful, and sell readily, but at hw figures. The supply of local bacon has not been so largo this weok ; the demand is steady. < 'hoese of mild quality commands good competition, but the market is principally cnlined to No. 2 and No. o grades. Fruit : We held a largo sale of Tasmaniar aid Island fruits on Tuesday, which realised satisfactory pricos. Apples, lis to 12s ,'fd per case; peanuts, 2d to 2id perlb ; cocoaimts, lis liil per sack, The supply of local fruit, except lemons, is now small. The supply continue.! good. We had a large number of turkeys ; but fowls were more limited, although the quality was excellent Pigs come forward in good supply, and meet with steady saie.
