Notices. LAND TAKEN FOR A ROAD IN WAIKATO COUNTY. (1,5.) ONSLOW, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. Whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, unrler " The Public Works Act, 1852," nnd its amendments, for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in Waikato County : And whereas the Waikato County Council hns laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a m.ip, ar.d also the statutory declaration, required by the said Act and the amendments thereof : Now. therefore, I, William ITillier, Karl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities :n me vested by" The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority in invuiM- enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule herau i.-. hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said road.
