FOOTBALL
4 (A CORRESI'OSDK.NT). A jiT.viOK Football Club has been formed here, aud a match has been arranged to be played at Huntly to-day between them and the team that played Hamilton on Saturday last, with the exception of one man, Montgomery, Clarence Skillern taking his place in the latter team. The match will take place at 3 o'clock sharp, in a paddock belonging to the Taupiri Extended Coal Company. The following are the names of the junior tsam, who are known here as "The Boys of the Village":—Full-back, W. Randells ; three-quarter-backs, M. Gleeson, Tom. Wilson, W. McGlyun ; half-backs, A. Geary, \V. Gleeson, and Brown; forwards, F. Carter (Captain), C. McUlynn, J. McGlynn, A. McMahon, K. Smith, W. Litt, Montgomery (2), Singer, Gulliver, T Dunn, J. Dooley, T. Ryan, and W. Tate, junr. An interesting game is anticipated as the juniors have iu their ranks many good, consistent players.
