(BY ELECTRIC TELEGKAPH. —OOPYIUQUT.) Victoria (8.C.), August 27. The sealers of British Columbia intend to send a petition to tho Premier of England protesting against the closing of the Jiehring Sea. for selling purposes until May. and suggesting that compensation should be paid to the sealers on the average take of three years. They point out that by adopting this latter suggestion, the necessity of an expensive enquiry will be obviated.
