The wedding took place yesterday morning at Russell, the church being crowded. The church choir showed the good feeling existing between the natives and Europeans by winging liyimis. food is being supplied in great quantities—cakes and plum pudililies are counted by hundreds. Tickets of invitation to the dinner were issued by i|,o chef Mita To Tai, ou behalf of the committee. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The Sclwyn County Council has aeouiescd in the resolutions from the I'atea and Waimate Councils, disapproving,' of the introduction of the one man one-vote principle in county elections, and decided to use its influence to get clause 10 expunged from the Counties Act.
