Isi.vnd news to hand states that the schooner Vailele, with Captain Evers and a crew of six, is believed to have been lust at the Solomon Islands. A forco under the command of Captain B.ms, of H.M.s. The detachment succeeded in surprising the village where the murderers were hiding, but the latter escaped, though the principal chief was captured and held as a hostage. The Royalist also paid a visit to Ugi Island, and punished tho murderers of Mr Howard, manager of Stevens and party, of the Dunodiii, and others, in .Much last.
