CURE FOR CANCER.
At a meeting of the Society of Physicians, held at Yicno.ion the 2nd of February, Professor vou Mosetig lectured on malignant tumours. Professor von Mosetig has worked during the past 10 years uninterruptedly at attempts to cure such tumours. The first discovery which led him to the solution of the problem was that the cells in a malignant tumour have less vitality than the other cells of the same person, a fact which admitted of the possibility of acting upon the cells of the tumour without making tho general organism suffer. Professor von Mosetig made injections with a coloured sub sUuec—methyl violet. The nucleus in the cells obsorbed tho colouivmtnediately ceased to grow, ami very soon began to shrink anJ withcr.so thattho swellings decreased with astonishing rapidity. The injections had to be repeated frequently, of course. The professor showed his experiences upon two patients, one of whom had a cancer in the jawbone, from ivhich Hfrroivth had extended from her chin, bo that she could neither cat nor drink. After ,"S0 injections, applied in a few weeks, the woman's chin was reduced to its normal proportions. Another pati-< put shown was a man who had a malignant growth on his chest. After 17 injections it was reduced to one third of its orginal size. He told of four more cases, one of which was an enormous growth in the Mdu of a man. He is completely cured, or appears to he no, and lives the life he led before he fell ill. It ia important to know (hat the remedy does not, in any way all'ect the general health of the patient.
