EGG CURING.

TO THK KUITOK. Sin, —I thank you very much for the paragraph you inserted in your paper of June 18th about my preserved eggs. You say I should take steps to make my process known ; that it would be a public benilit. I am quiet willing to do so if the public will recompense mo for it. ft must bo borne in mind that I have been trying for some two or three years to preserve eggs, and 1 have failed in it several times, which has given me some anxiety and loss, but now I have hit upon tho process which I will defy any man to boat. The piocess lam working on is cheap and simple, the cost does not exceed a half-ponny per dozen and a child could put 300 eggs through the process in one hour, and the keepiug qualities yon have tested, I can safely say if you had kept those eggs another three months they would have been equally as good. Do yon think it would be right to try to get a bonus from the Government ? Then I would make it public and for public reasons it might help many a ono to stick to their small holdings .nd to relievo the charitable aid boards, also create a trade for export. I have sold my e<»gs this year at Is 4d per dozen those eggs were laid ivhan they were only Isd per dozen. 1 obtained one penny above the market price as fresh eggs were then selling.— Yours truly. David Evitts. K'ohoKohn.
