|BV KI.fCTIIIU TEMiCiIIAI'H.— COI'VIIIGHT.] London, July 8. At thv State banquet, given by Her Majesty to-day in honour of tho visit of the Emperor and Empress of Germnir,, there were J6O guests. Tho spectacle wis a very brilliant one, and in splendour has not been equalled for übout .'SO years. The banquet was served iu St. George's Hall, and plate and trophies of the value of over a million sterling were brought into use.
The Emperor of Germany attended a garden party given by tho Prince Christian to-day, and this evening ho will arrive at Buckingham Palace.
The Emperor of Germany confers the order of the Black Eagle on Lord Salisbury, and the Queen bestows the Order of the Garter on the Prince of Naples, heir apparent to the throne of Italy.
