SUDDEN DEATHS.
[l)Y TKl.K'iltAl'H —OWN* COItItKSPONDKNT. 1 Auckland, Last Night. A HOOT half-past!) this rnorninp, Miss Apties Clayton, tho youngest daußtitor of Captain Clayton, Parnell, died suddenly at her parenta' residence, St. George's Bay Road. Sho had been unwell for soma time past, but wan recovering when sho was overtaken by death. Tho immediate cause of death wa.s an affection of the heart. Tho deceased young lady, who wa.s IS years of age, was much liked by her acquaintances. News was received by cable last evening
of tho death in Melbourne of Mr Alexander Saunders, who was for many yoars well known in Auckland. The death, which was sudden, occurred yesterday morning. Mr Walter Dignan, who was engaged in his brother's oflice as a solicitor, was found dead in his bath this morning. An inquest will be held to ascertain the cause of death.
