EDUCATIONAL.

-•- In view of the increasing interest which in being taken in educational matters, particularly in the Whatawhata district, and also the importance to persons wishing to exercise the franchise, of knowing the correct boundaries of school districts, we have been requested to publish the following which has been recently received from the Board of Education. We may add that neither the Karatnu norTe Kowhai school districts havo yet been proclaimed :—

WIIATAWIIATA FIIUCATIONAI. DISTRICT. —Bounded towards the north by the northern boundaries of lots 7, 6, 3, 2, 1, 150, and ,11 of the parish of Horotiu ; thence by the road which forms the eastern boundaries of lots (50a, GO, and 70 of the said parish, and thence, by the tjaid road continued to the south-eastern angle of lot 01 of the parish aforesaid ; towards the east by part of the western boundary of the Hamilton educational district, from last-named lot to the Bouth-eastern angle of lot . r >s of the parish of Tuhikaramea ; towards the tioath by the road which forms the .southern boundaries of lots ">,">, ~>H, ii' 2, !il, 18, 47, 16, 45. '-'li, '-'.), -21, 23, •-!-', 21, 20a, 20, 19, and 18, all of the parish of Tuliikaramea aforesaid ; towards the west by tho VVaipa river from the south-western augle of last-named lot to the. north eastern anglo of lot 170 N. of the parish of Karamu, thuicc by the road from last named lot to tho southeastern angle of lot 1 of said parish, thence by the road which forms the south-western bouuda'ics of lots 4, 3, 2, and 1 of said parish, and thence by the road which forms the western boundaries of lots 133, 32, 31, 30, 20, and 28 of parish aforesaid; again towards the north by part of the northern boundary of said parish from the northwestern angle of last-named lot to the Waipa river ; and again towaids the west by tho Wiipa river from the northeastern angle of lot 21 of last-named parish to the north-weatern angle of lot 7 of the parish of Horotiu, the place of commencement.
