TII.K Parliament/iry Coiumittee of privileges is still engaged taking evidence in connection with I.lks charges of corrupt practices brought against some members of Parliament. At to-day's sitting a contractor testified that lit: had paid the Hon. Sir Hector Langevin, the Minister of Public Works, a lar«e sum of money for obtaining him the; Quebec Harbour eentract. Tn consequence of the disclosures previously made Sir Hector Langevin was recently called upon by the Premier to resign bis position in the Cabinet.
