Oil Wednesday Mis Donnelly obtained an injunction from the Supremo Court restraining tho natives from Romp; 011 the land, and copies of tho injunction were served by the police upon the natives concerned early yesterday morning. Since then tho natives have mado uo attempt to disobey the injunction, and are very quiet owing to the vigilance and determined action of tliu police. Inspector lOmerson and Sjrgeant Cullon believe they are now wall disposed towards the police. Inspector Kmeison informed me that .Sergeant Oullen acted with much zeal and ability with the natives before the Inspector himself arrived here.
