(uy Ki.Konuo telechaph.— coi'Yhight.) London', Juno -t. The various Agents-Genera], with the exception of Sir.lames Uarrick, interviewed Lord G. I''. Hamilton ami Lord Knutsford to day with reference to the Australian squadron proceeding round Capo Leinvin mi ita way to Australia. Lord Hamilton replied that tha nnyal advisers were ununimonus in the opinion that it would be unsafe for the squadron to proceed by the route requested, and they were unable even to consider a change cf route. Sir (iridium Berry said Australia was not likely to bo pleased at the statement that the vessels were unable to proceed round Cape Leeuwin. Lord Knuisford retorted that the colonies have received the class of vessels they wanted. Sir Saul Samuel had not received any instructions to object to the proposed route of the squadron, and therefore irmde no objection, but hoped all the vessels of the squadron would visit Thursday Island, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
