From a good start Minnie and B«tlo went away to the front, but Castanette, who was ridden with judgment, closed up in the last half-mile, and taking the load was never caught. Local Rack.—Castanette appropriated this also, Yarraman second, and Zebnoria third. Poxy Hack.—Rowdy, 1; Pipeclay, 2; Jack tlie Hipper, 3. Rowdy led from tho start, and won easily.
