Tho prisoners were placed in a standing position, with chains 011 their legs, and their hands tied behind then backs, and while in that helpless position their heads were severed with a Burmese knife. May 22. The young Manipur Prince, Zilla Guuda, has been arrested in connection with the murder of liritish officers 111 the recoilt revolt.
