The Commercial Steam Navigation Company claim the ownership of th' 1 steamer Itata. which they state the rebels unlawfully seized; and they contend that, under the circumstances the United States had 110 right to attempt to detain her at San Diego. It is reported that the Itata has surrendered to the United States authorities, having however, scoretly transfer; ed her munitions of war to the Jismeralda.
