AcciiiENT.—On Friday last a very painful accident happened to Mr J as. Farrell, sen. Whilst engaged in dressing a sheep tho knife which he was using slipped and struck him on the right tbigh, inflicting a deep and ugly wound. Mr Farrell was at once convoyed to his home, and Dγ Rowley sent fer, whn upon arrival, stitched up and dressed the wound. Mr Farrell has been confined to his bed since, and it will be some few days beforo ha can get about again. Town Boakd.— The usual monthly meet, mg of the Town Board took place on Saturday, but owing to tho absence (through illness) of the Chairman, little or no business was transacted. The meeting was adjourn to the 2nd proximo.
