ACCIDENT.
Wβ regret to hear of a painful accident that happened to Mr Marsdou, the school teacher at Ivaramu, while playing cricket at Faterangi on Saturday last. It appears that during the course of the jjame, Mr Maredou, who was playing on the Tuhikaramea side, against Paterangi, received a blow from the cricket ball with full force in the groin. The unfortunate man suffered great agony, being almost unconscious for some time. Mr Lang at once conveyed the sufferer to his home, at Tuhikaramea, and later in llie evening Mr Maredon, rallying somewhat, and being able to walk with assistance, started for Ivnramu, in company with two English gentlemen, who are at present staying with Mr Lang.
