The decision of the Judges (the Chief .lustiee and Mr Justice Coiiolly) who heard the Te Aroha election petition, has been forwarded to the Speaker. The precise terms of the judgment will not bo known for some days, but it is understood here to be in accordance with the information .sent a day or two ago—namely, to declare the seat vacant and to inhibit Mr Allen from qualification to enter Parliament for twelve months. It is also st-ited here that Colonel Fraser will not stand again for the seat, and that the writ for a now electiou will not be issued before Parliament meets.

lln reference to the above, we were told by Mr Adam Porter, who passed through Hamilton by train on Saturday from To Aroba, that he was present at Mr Allen's house on Friday, when that gentleman received an oUicial intimation to the client that the To Arolia seat had been rendered vacant and thai a dis qualification rusted upon him for a term ol twelve months.
