Nominal quotations are—prime milling Is M, stout feed Is 7d, ordinary Ib Id to Is sd, f.0.b.. sacks extra. Potatoes.— Kidneys 25s to *J7s fid per ton at country stations. Dairy produce.—Without alteration. Store sheep.—Good sound-mouthed ewes made up to lis 3d, and some exceptional lines of ewes exceeded this figure. Cross-bred lambß ranged betweon 6s :id and Rs, and we noticed tho sale of merino lambs at 5s sd, merino ewes at 5s 2d, and mixed croisbreds—a [good line—at 12s ltd. Fat sheep.—Best wethers made as high—for some small lots-as 10s Gd, mixed sexes sold at 12s Cd to 14s Gd, and ewes drifted between 9s and 14s, though the latter figure was exceeded for one or two specialities. Some fine merino wethers touched 13s 7d, and we noticed merino ewes sold at 8s 4d. Fat cattle.—We are pleased to be able to report a hardening in beef values. Though nothing remarkable for weight was brought into the ring, the quality offered was good, and commanded equal to lbs to 19s per 100. Fat lambs.-The general run of sales were made between 8s and 14a 6d.
