ALEXANDRA.

Nativk Intelligence.—The native meeting at Whatiwhatihoe terminated on Friday last, when there was a general break up, the majority of the natives returning to their homes. Tawhiao gained the consent of the meeting as to the removal of the boucs of deceased chiefs of the Waikato tribes, to his settlement at Pukekawa. The arrangement come to is that a party at once proceed to build or rather dig out canoes iu Pirongia to convey them dowu the river. When completed they will proceed to collect the bones of the dead from Hangatiki, Hikurangi, Orahiri, Te Kuiti, and other places and remove them. On their return with the remains, the Waikatos will be accompanied by a number of the Ngatimaniapoto tribe, who will return with them to Lower Waikato and remove their dead—a number of whom were killed during the war —to their own country.—Tawhiao with his family are still residing at Whatiwhatihoe.
