MotJNTKii Lntantrv.—Lieut. Gresliaiu returned from the military sports ou Tuesday, together with the other members of this corps. Owing to several accidents, the list of winners is not so Ion" as it would otherwise have been. Sorgeant 'I'. Weatherill and Trooper Corboy succeeded iu winning the Rescue Match, the former also winning, with b'isherboy, the l\u:c Race, upon which ho waa loudly cheered, the style iu •which tlio old liorat moved himself being tplcndid, and v. m, muci, admired. The corps placed ittM ia iiDotlicr event, aud v.'ould havo won the J uiuping Practice :.ad not one of uie iiouea baulked. The Lorpu comptt-d ud cavalry, ar.d uot aa infantry. Da.NCE.—On luciday night a private dance was held in the Volunteer Hall. Tho attendance was: Inge, and dancing was indulged in uutil au eaily hour in tho morning. Kofresliinents were amply provided, aud u very enjoyable evening was spent by all present.
