Scott, Miss Gardiner, Captain Ciuthrie, Mr Walrnnd, lion, Cadmi'ii, and Mr Lewis (Under Socretary for Xative Affairs). The ladies will not £o beyond Kotnrnii, but will there await the return of the party The Hon. Mr I'.uckley, Mrs l.uckloy, and Mrs I'ilzu'Qrald, who have been on a visit to To Aroha, are exected to join the party at Oxford and proceed to Roturun. At" Rotorna His Excellency will be joined by Mr Fuller and Lord Ancrum who will probably accompany the party on the journey to tho Urewera country. Mi Kelly, M. KR. is also expected to join the "party there, and Mr Bwdi who is to act as interpreter will tie picked up later on. The Covenior propoiiis to proceed t> Okoroiri tii-mglit but lion. There appears to bo snmo unci'.rtiimt.y as to what kind of b reception the governor and party will have, owirnr to a rop-.it which has been circulated in Kotorna, to the eifect that the natives are inclined to restrict tho number of tho party witb the view to exclude any who may be suspected of beitiE gold prospectors, surveyors, or others intent on scyiiiß out the Urewe'ra country. It is undeistood that the party will hu met by a larpe number of natives on the way to Ruatoki and escorted there, this beins the place selected for the meeting instead of Runtahuna, which is a considerable distance further inland. Te Kooli is '.aiders'ood to be with the Urewera natives, and he is expected to be one of the principal .-poke-man at the meeting.
