Several protests were entered, which resulted in the first three horses and Surprise being disqualified, and it was decided to run the race over again, the other horses only being allowed to compete. The race was run yesterday afternoon, when five horses started, and Castaway w<m. but a protest was lodged him for having run at unregistered meetings, and it being sustained the race was awarded to Dolly.
