KIHIKIHI.
Licensing Polls.—The Licensing Committee and Local Option pulls wore held here on February 2oth, at the Public Hall, Mr John Marie Grace, returning officer, presiding. Considerable interest was taken in the election of the Licensing Committee as the period for which they will be in office is tln eo years, and four of the candidates were members of the present Town Board. Prominent amongst the voters were several ladies who recorded their votes. So enthusiastic were some of the ladies in the matter that they came from Ohaupo to vote, having qualifications as ratepayers in the lvihikihi Town District.
