ARNABOLDI TESTIMONIAL FUND.
Thk appeal made by Mr Forrest in a letter appearing in Saturday's issue, will, we feel sure, be liberally responded to throughout Waikato. The first contribution reached us yesterday, together with a letter from Mr Fitzroy Peacocke, which appears in this issue. This recoenition of the service she has done the public will be read by Miss Arnaboldi and her friends with feelings of considerable gratification, and we are right in surmising that the high appreciation her conduct is held in by Mr Peaoocke is shared in generally. It is so unusual to soc or hear of atiyono so unselfish as to sacrifice position for duty. It will be some consolation to Miss Arnaboldi to know that the public generally sympathise with her, that they have watched the course of the enquiry with much interest and anxiety and with a hope that her condust would be vindicated, wljich the finding of the commission has ap entirely accomplished.
