A. sl'i.i ! m. meeting of the. Kit ilciiifoa Road Hoard was hold yesterday to receive the report of the committee appointed U: in spect the Mangawltara. road. There wero present. Messrs Primrose, McLean, Gillett and White. Tho committee, Messrs McLean and White, reported that it would be necessary to clay -13 chains, and recommended that fenders be called for the work. The report of the committee was adopted, tin work t . be carried out under tho supervision of the earnmittre. — The cletk reported that Miss iJ-idiiam had called upon the chairman and explained her action in regard to not cutting her furze and intimated her willingness to comply.
