J NEW VESSELS. (BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION',) Dun'KDl.v, Last Night. The Union Company are having two sister •hips to the Tainui built. These are- expected to arrive in the colony about July, and the capacity of each will be 1,250 tons. A vessel for the Fiji-New Zealand trade is being built by Denny Bros, of Duiubertoii, She is to be called tho Ovalau. A new boat for the Sauioau Irudo called the Unortu is being built by Flaming and Eergusson of Paisley. The Ovalau brings .vith her new boilers and engines for the Wakntipu. Tho Union C-.impany have decided to take up permanent running between Nuw Zealand and Calcutta, and a .special steamer has been chartered to load at Calcutta in June. She will return from New Zealand with a load of horses in August. Next year it is in tended to build a vessel of l,.">oft tons capacity, specially designed and fitted for the eastern trade.
