Tvurnu Road. — The ti-tree on the Hukanui-Taupin Road, from Woodland's gate to Tatipiii, wa* ordered to he cleared, under the superintendence of Messrs Maclean and White. Manuawhaua. — .Messrs Maclean and White were authorised to spend a sum of money not exceeding t"i on tlio Manguwiiara Road, near I! ice's farm. Kxginbbh.—Mr Sandes's agrpc.'iient to act as engineer was received. J^UNDS. —The Clork reported thst t«io Board was £'340 0s 3d in credit, AuniTOK - Uesk'AAL.--An account was received from tho Auditor-General for £3 Cs Sd for audit fees. The account was ordered to be paid. Tenders.—The following tenders were received for works on the Taupiri-Ngarua-wahia Road Wavte (accepted), 3< lid per I'hain forming, OVi per yard tor claying ; darken, 3- ; !'I "forming, 2s claying; Limmei', 4s f n.uiug ; Owen, 4- forming. FciiZK.— Mr Gwett wrote, complaining of the furze cuminy on :o hi-place from adjoining farms. It was r'.silved to t ike steps against Miss Hadhiui'. for not cL-uiug her f'i'/.e.
