Tliu second series of local sales was hold at th» Chamber of Commerce Ha 1 last Thursday and Friday, when tho attendance- was large and representative, uicludins English, Continental, and all the local buyers, also representatives and owners ot four woollen manufactories. The improvement anticipated in business had been realised though perhaps not to the exteut that might bo looked for by some as satisfactory. Homo of the wools offered by us made ~<i to I'd per lb more than was ottered at our previous sale. Grain.
