AUCKLAND HOSPITAL ENQUIRY.
(uv TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) .Auckland, Last Night. The Hospital enquiry was commenced today. Letters were read from Air Reed, advising Miss Arnaboldi to refuse to give evidence. An application was made for an adjournment, but the Commissioners refused to grant it, and proceeded to take the evidence of Miss Arnaboldi at considerable length. During the afternoon a telegram was received from the Governor, directing tho Commissioners to adjourn the enquiry for a fortnight, which they accordingly did.
