Numbers of drivers and stokers have resumed work on the Caledonian Company's line, and the collapse of the strike is expected. The Edinburgh Town Council will petition the Hoard of Irade to interfere in the Seotcli railway strike. The labourers engaged relief works at Skibberecu and Banti}, County Cork, have struck for an advance in wages.
