The following letter has been forwarded by Dr. Broom to the Waikatn Cmnty Council, in reference to the unsatisfactory sanitary condition of the township of Kuntly :— Huntly, January 3rd, IS9I. To the Shire Council, Hamilton : Gentlemen,—Allow me to report to you the bad condition of thn excrementaria belonging to the public schools at Huntly and their very near proximity to a superficial well used for drinking purposes. There is also an impervious drain near the railway elation or rather to the North of it, bearir.g a very bad smell in waim weather.
