The accounts for the last quarter of the financial yoar always contain the largest receipts, because the revenue is telegraphed on the last day from all parts of the colony. The expenditure for the nine months is well within bounds and the Treasury officials anticipate that thfi financial results of the year will be up to their anticipations.
