Gonffo, a process-server, is creating it sensation. The murder took plac ■ in July. ISNf). and the reason as-signed is that Gouft'e hud papers in his possession whicb incriminated the accused. Both prisoners admitted their guilt; Bompard pleads that Eyaud hypno tised her. During the proceedings constant quarrels took place between the accused in the Court. The judge refuse I the application on behalf of the female prisoner that she should bo publicly hypnotised. The Nancy School of Medicine supports her plea,, and the Paris School opposes it. Tauis, December 21. Eyraud was found guilty of the murder of Gouffc, and sentenced to death. Gabriel Bompard was also convicted of being an aeces°ory to the crime, and was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment.
