TE AROHA ELECTORATE.

Mil K. Y. Cox held a meotin<r on bohalf of Mr Allen, at Waharoa on Friday evening, mid was very favourably received. A committee, including Messrs N.| I. Hikutaia. and other districts. Mr Stewart's letireinent is expected to give Mr Alien a number of extra votes. The news of the determination of Mr O, V. Stewart to withdraw from the present contest over the Te_Aroha seat was received in Tauranga with some surprise. It is generally considered that this step places Mr Allen's position beyond any doubt. This eud of the district will practically be a block vote for Mr Allen.
